H.R.2694: Pregnant Workers Fairness Act

Overview

The Pregnant Workers Fairness Act would create an affirmative right to reasonable accommodations for pregnant workers as long as they do not pose an undue burden to employers. By using a framework familiar to employers under the ADA, this bill would make it easier for pregnant workers to request minor modifications that will enable them to continue working.
