H.R.2763: Keeping Families Together Act of 2019

Overview

H.R. 2763 would prohibit the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) from implementing, administering, or enforcing the proposed rule entitled “Housing and Community Development Act of 1980: Verification of Eligible Status”. The new rule would require that if any member of a household is ineligible for assisted housing due to immigration status, the entire family would be ineligible.
