H.R.3154: Homeownership for DREAMers Act

Overview

The Homeownership for DREAMers Act would clarify that Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) beneficiaries have access to mortgages with Federal credit enhancement, regardless of their immigration status, if all other eligibility criteria are satisfied. This bill would apply to home loans backed by the Federal Housing Administration, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and the Department of Agriculture.

S.1929 is the Senate companion bill.
