Overview

The Healthy Breakfasts Help Kids Learn Act (H.R. 4652) would amend the National School Lunch Act to authorize the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) to provide additional food to states participating in the School Breakfast Program. The bill would repeal a provision that prohibits USDA from offering food assistance based on the number of school breakfasts served, and requires the USDA to use a more generous formula to provide additional food assistance for each school breakfast served.
