H.R.4665: Medicare Vision Act of 2019

Overview

The Medicare Vision Act (H.R. 4665) would expand Medicare Part B coverage to include routine eye exams, procedures, and contact lens fitting services and provides coverage for one pair of eyeglasses or a two-year supply of contact lenses. Around 20.5 million Medicare beneficiaries have vision problems, yet only 57 percent, this bill would remedy this inequity.
