S.1414: Student Borrower Bankruptcy Relief Act of 2019

Overview

Student Borrower Bankruptcy Relief Act (S. 1414) would eliminate the section of the Bankruptcy Code that makes private and federal student loans non-dischargeable. Currently, student loans are almost impossible to get rid of during bankruptcy proceedings.
