Overview

Housing is Infrastructure Act (S. 2951) would strengthen federal public housing programs through a $70 billion investment in the public housing capital fund. The bill would also provide an additional $30 billion for other housing programs such as Multi-family Preservation, and Revitalization Demonstration program, the Pre-disaster Hazard Mitigation Program, and the Housing Trust Fund.

H.R. 5187 is the House companion bill introduced by Rep. Maxine Waters.
