S.767: Housing for Homeless Students Act of 2019

Overview

Housing for Homeless Students Act (S. 767) would modify the low-income housing tax credit to allow specific building units that provide housing for full-time students who are homeless children, youth, or veterans to qualify for the credit. This credit would be accessible to full-time students who have been a homeless child or youth during any portion of the seven-year period before occupying the housing unit or a homeless veteran during any part of the five years prior to occupying the unit.
